This application will calculate the distance a spark plug needs to be moved in or out to have approximately the same effect as changing the ignition timing the specified number of degrees.The spark plug angle is measured from the block deck.
Enter the appropriate information then click on 'Calculate'. If you make a mistake, click on the appropriate box and reenter the figure. To reset the entire form, click on 'Reset'. To close the application, click on 'Close'.
It should be emphasized that moving spark plugs to help correct cylinder to cylinder pressure differences is a crude "racetrack" fix and that other, more accurate, methods should be employed whenever possible.
